Monday Night (20/4/09)

Birthday celebrations never end... Because I have so many friends who remembered my birthday! On Monday night, my ex-school friends brought me to T.G.I. Fridays to celebrate! Wah... We had such a fun time eating there and since Aaron is working there, he served us excellently! He brought us various sauces to taste and even gave me a free drink!!

After enjoying the dinner, T.G.I.F. Staff came over to our table and did their birthday traditions... ahhh, I was so scared they will do that... and worst, I didn't know what they were up to this time XD

So first of all, I was requested to stand on the chair to give a speech. And I willingly gave that speech... akakaka... Next, they asked me to pull a friend out to do the T.G.I.F. food dance... I was blurred for awhile coz I was thinking, "what kind of dance is that?!" And yea... smart Aaron went and recorded Dobby and I dancing XD It was a bit humiliating but it was fun... heheh....

Then they sang me a birthday song... backwards = facing their back behind me and sing.... @.@ I thought they meant singing the song backwards, like "you to birthday happy" X 4 Then hor, still not yet finish.... I had to blow a candle on their cake from a far *It was delicious!! got caramel one*

Then they even sang a song, I mean Aaron even sang the song saying that I am old.... ish... It goes like this " I don't know what I've been told, Rachel here is very old, good news is we sing for free, bad news is we sing off key....." I am not old lar!!!

After dinner, my friends came over to my house to eat the birthday cake that they bought! haha.... too full until cannot eat at the restaurant. They sang the birthday song again here... hehe... This year I heard that song plenty of times edi...

Friday (17/4/09) My Birthday!!!

Hehe.... My birthday finally came to past... As usually, every Friday I have class... So I went to class with my new birthday gift from my mum, she bought me this top! Sweet right??


So during break time, people kept coming in and giving me bunches of marshmallows... kekeke... Even those that I din know, Mr. Siew also gave XD I felt very weird receiving all these from them and thought that there were booths downstairs selling this....

Later, my friends started coming in with the marshmallows and then only I realize that it was for my birthday! haha! What a brilliant idea.... They started to sing me birthday songs, as usually, in English, Malay, Cantonese... hehe... Each bunch of marshmallow has an alphabet on it. They told me that I had to rearrange them!! There were 29 alphabets, so tough... Check out the answer in the pictures below. Here are the pictures!

I felt so surprised because I never expected them to do such a great party. I wanna thank all of you kisiao-ians for pakating with Jojo, Lettecia, Ilex and Jasmine Teh in making this work!! Thank you so much and I love all of you!

Thursday (16/4/09)

Wah.... This was the day I had been waiting for!! You know why?? Because it was the day where we planned to celebrate my birthday together!! Celebrated my birthday with Elliot =)

In the morning, I went for Public Speaking lecture... When I stepped into the class, my friends were looking at me one kind.... Michelle asked, "wah... why today you wear so nice??" She thought for a moment and then she remembered, "Ohhhh.... today celebrating with Elliot ahh??" I just smiled at her...

I just anticipated for later the whole time in class... couldn't really pay attention to those who were giving their speeches, sorry guys... hehe... But I tried to though...

After class, Michelle came over and disturbed me again!! "So going out with Elliot now??" But this time I was busy talking to those who are in charge of the play... Had to gao tim this first... Then Elliot called and I had to leave... and Michelle was like, "Enjoy *with an evil-look-smile* and make sure you tell me what happened tomorrow ah?" I smiled at her again....

So we went to 1 U and bought 2 tickets to watch Fast and Furious 4. I actually slept in the cinema..... was too tired la... hehe.... Of all the parts right, I slept at the climax XD Was tahaning and tahaning till that part cannot tahan anymore.... kekeke...

So we went round shopping for a more decent top because we were going to his house to have dinner... At last, we went to Nicole and bought a t-shirt. Then Elliot brought me to Perlini's, twice! He said that he wanted to get me something from there... and you know, Perlini's jewellery are quite expensive.... He haven't decided on what he wanted to buy yet at that time, so I was like "Ok, I will choose the most expensive one la!" and he was like... "sure" wahhhh.....

But in the end, I didn't wanna get anything from there because honestly, I wasn't that into Perlini's yet... hehe... I wanted a dress! A prom dress since prom is coming soon... and I told him that when I see a nice dress, then will ask him to buy for me la... hehe....

Next, we went over to his house. It was my first time visiting his family so I was a bit scared... felt pressuring... When we settled down, his sister, Jen Li, told me that she saw me on TV!! hehe... and asked me how I got the scholarship and stuff... I also went to greet his mum.... His mum seemed like an outgoing, loud and happy person.. hehe... She cooked dinner for us and I especially like her 'shui gao', very nice.... After dinner, I thank her for the dinner and we left for the lake....

Yay!! the lake!! hehe..... I got to feed the fishes and especially the tortoise ahh.... hehe... and there were 2 tortoises!! so nice.... looked like one was chasing after the other, akakaka.... so romantic XD

We took lots of pictures by the lake.... When the clock striked midnight, it was my birthday!! hehe... Elliot sang me a birthday song and fed me with the Chocolate Banana cake from Secret Recipe!! wah.... It was awesome =) I enjoyed every moment of it!

When I reached home. Elliot came in to my house for awhile to transfer the pictures over... hehe.... We had a great time that evening and I was anticipating for my next year's birthday celebration with him, akakaka.....

Wednesday night (15/4/09)

Hey guys,

My birthday was on April 17 (Friday)... Despite that, so many of my friends started to wish me already... hahah... I felt so remembered XD Even Audrey wished me on last Tuesday (April 7, 09) hehe.... Ben was one of them who wished me on Wednesday night...

On that night, I was actually singing to release some stress... I sang for more than 3 hours!! I also recorded my singing XD Ben was so nice. I sent to him my recordings and he kindly put them on imeem and then on his blog... Check it out -> http://www.born2mad.blogspot.com/

Thanks Ben! I really appreciate your effort, especially when you had to help Garry with his debate and do this at the same time... Garry says "no wonder he took so long to reply me la... he was doing that for you...." XD XD
